Harry Kane getting a thread, so thought Jude deserved an update too. Another goal for him yesterday, making it 13 in 15 games, plus a couple of assists. He's a midfielder!

    Different gravy that kid.

We’re lucky aren’t we. Look at the talent this Country is producing.

Walker, Stones, Rice, Trent, Bellingham, Foden, Saka, Kane. The stand outs, all world class.

The others aren’t bad players either.

Also, nice to see English talent smashing it abroad too.

Edit. I’ll not forget what he did on that Tuesday night at oakwell as a kid, he was brilliant that night. I know Anderson wasn’t the finished article then, but a 16 year old kid bullied him that night. What a talent.

It's a shame Reece James' legs are made out of twiglets and cobwebs, he'd be right up there as well.

Jude Bellingham is about halfway through his fifth full season in professional football.

He did an apprenticeship in the championship at Birmingham, three seasons at a big club in Borussia Dortmund and is now possibly the best, if not most important, player at arguably the biggest club in the world. Certainly one of the biggest.

He has the best goalscoring stats of any midfield player in Europe. He’s the current top scorer in La Liga. From midfield.

He has 27 senior England caps. He’s also arguably England’s best player.

    He’s 20 years of age. ******* 20.

Absolute freak of nature - once in a lifetime special - and we are so lucky to have him in the England setup.

Pity we can’t sort a good manager to get them to win an international tournament!

Admittedly, I don't watch the Premier League, but I've always thought that Reece James' England performances flatter to deceive.

Or could argue he’s a reason why these have progressed like they have?

Maybe we will find out this summer.

I’d just be careful what you wish for, the managers out there aren’t what people think they are? People talk about Howe, whilst I would always support someone if they’re England manager, would I sack Southgate for him now? Not a chance. He has failed in Europe, if England were in the position Newcastle were and didn’t get out of group we would rightly not be happy. I will concede you cannot compare the two, but it is all we have.

Nobody else is realistic, unless you look at Dyche, Cooper, Potter etc. no thank you.

    Southgate still in for me.
