So digging around the interweb, as one does (when one should really be getting on with some work) she really does seem to be a mixed bag. An enterprising whirlwind, totally focussed, on one hand, yet confrontational and overly ambitious on the other hand. I posted yesterday that at first glance she appears to be akin to Anna Delvey. If you have watched Inventing Anna on Netflix, you'll get that. A foreigner arriving in New York, with ideas that seem totally above her station, she takes the City by storm and befriends a plethora of rich socialites in order to advance herself and create her dream ADF - Anna Delvey Foundation. Read VFiles Foundation. Similarities are striking. In 2016, an article states Julies' VFiles foundation was 4 years old. An employee was involved in a legal battle. Not sure of the outcome, but the complainant said of Julie "“Quay has operated VFiles as her alter ego, funding the company largely from her husband Matthew Edmonds’ personal hedge fund fortune, and making capricious and reckless decisions.”" So Matthew seems wealthy indeed, and could be her backer? He seems open and honest enough on LinkedIn. He doesn't seem to stick around long, and is currently head of something or other at a firm called Jordan Park in NYC. He was previously head of Hutchin Hill, which was a $2bn fund which went totally pear shaped and as head, he walked away from it.

She's very successful in fashion but what does she know about professional Football? I hope the official website is going to have a interview with her at some point very soon so we can get to know her better and what she's bringing to the club. Interesting she's worked with Khloe Kardashian...... https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/khloe-kardashian-v-files-mentor-exclusive-7889990/ That's a big deal because the media footprint of that family is massive. It might help our kit sales if she can get some of the famous people she knows to wear them
2005, she bought a big condo!! https://observer.com/2005/06/deania...am-mag-editrix-foils-woody-in-75-m-floorthru/ Some issue in the neighbourhood - "Ms. Quay was contacted about her purchase, but didn’t return calls for comment." https://pagesix.com/2016/08/31/vfiles-founder-embroiled-in-legal-battle-with-employee/ "Rieckhoff’s complaint says: “Quay has operated VFiles as her alter ego, funding the company largely from her husband Matthew Edmonds’ personal hedge fund fortune, and making capricious and reckless decisions.” Quay claims Rieckhoff violated her confidentiality agreement by contacting Quay’s investors and making “disparaging remarks,” and says Rieckhoff is not entitled to severance, or a signing bonus. Rieckhoff claims she is owed $829,794" Beware, residents of Grove St. https://pagesix.com/2016/05/02/soho-residents-annoyed-with-fashion-companys-wild-events/ "Raucous parties thrown by a sceney fashion company are creating a rift with Soho neighbors. Clothing store and social media site VFiles — which is owned by Julie Anne Quay, former executive editor of avant garde fashion magazine V and the wife of hedge funder Matthew Edmonds — has held a series of music events branded VFiles Live at its 12 Mercer St. storefront." On the plus side, they both seem involved with Australia / US relations, Uni funding etc, and the NYC social scene.
Think you misunderstood I meant nothing has changed for me, I never said nothing has changed at the club hence my position hasn’t changed until I see all or some of the things i mentioned. I am also still cynical about what it means however I do see it as a positive step just not enough for me to part with hard earned yet.
Just had a glance on Conway Out. Some of the comments on there are all over the fkn place mate. I was gonna jump on and try and reason with a few, but just decided against it. I suspect it wouldn’t get me anywhere. Also interested to see how long it keeps its name, given that Conway is Out.
Always gonna be some cretins as there are at times on here but not sure why you’re replying to my comment about that group ?
You were vocally ‘Conway Out’ but him leaving doesn’t change anything for you. I’m asking if it wasn’t really Conway Out and more you just wanted the owners at the time to change their approach?
He’s not out tho is he ? He might have no controlling say but in essence it’s still the same shower of **** ! But to be clear it was never just Conway out, Iowa’s the lot of em including the Cryne’s what’s happened to our club can be blamed on the lot of em . We know Naff all about the legal battle and it may turn out that actually the Cryne’s involvement in it was to safeguard the club but as it stands the whole statement counter statements around ground ownership and ground sharing they were complicit in it . They were also part of the ownership that has allowed pathetic recruitment of players and coaches and have allowed Oakwell the fall into a sorry state and the biggest and is they have allowed the fan base to be driven away from the club, yesterday’s news may have put a few more sales on the alleged pitiful amount we have sold thus far pretty unimaginable in previous seasons irrespective of relegation. So you or nobody else will tell me I have to spend my money because I smashed my rose tinted glasses a long time ago. If some of the things I referred to materialise I will consider and if that’s too late I’ll go to the odd home game, if it doesn’t it’s NAPM and away games only. Yeah but Conway Out yeah but Jeremy Corbyn
Haven’t said anything of the sort and wouldn’t dream of it. But Paul Conway has almost entirely gone - minor a slither of shares. Like you say though, and like I’ve said, doesn’t change what we’ve got to face in to. Although some of the things you’ve listed were directly down to him, so we’ve got a good chance of not repeating it.
