La Mamas at Stocksbridge used to be like that (I don't know if it's still going). It made for a good night; food, good company, good atmosphere, and not being pissed off at being ripped-off with the drink prices. I think more restaurants / bistros ought to do this.
LOL at the "its a ***** hole" comment. nice park and that near the ground, some nice spots, but its all seagull **** covering the rest of the place, same in every "beach resort" around the country though. oh and, "... ive got a shed as big as this..."
Here's just a bit of banter back etc
Your town's ****. Your club's ****. Your team's **** and, contrary to popular belief down there you southerners are so far up your own arses you don't even realise that, most of the time, you talk ****.
(clap) etc

.

RE: Here's just a bit of banter back etc I see that you have the same problem on your site with posters not really having the brains to add some intelligent comments.........it all may be a pile of **** my friend but how will you feel if this pile of **** knocks you out the cup????
You're Back Have your fans decided to make some noise yet at home games? I remember how quiet you were back in April, even before we had open the scoring. My cousin went there with Huddersfield on a wednesday night in december last month. She said your fans were very quiet, which is a surprise when you consider you thrashed the Terriers.
RE: You're Back Funny atmosphere at the moment....we are a hard to please bunch, we can be playing great footy and be as quiet as hell...then getting stuffed and raising the roof....there is a lot of debate on our boards about what the cause is and more importantly the cure
I have to apologise ... it was me who said we are a bigger club and that your defeat of us would be seen as a giant killing.
Well..... this may hurt, but we are and it would. It is also a well known fact that you cannot move in Southend on a Saturday for Cockneys dancing up and down, waving jellied eels in the air and singing Any Old Iron.
That's why we have to come Friday.....allegedly

When talking about "great footy" how on Earth can you be talking about Southend?? What the hell are they feeding you down there? Apart from jellied eels and cockles I mean. Thats not a dig at Southend as such, but no fans supporting a team in the third tier of any league can surely say "great footy" AND keep a straight face when talking about their team.
