    Re: Is it possible

In my opinion if the defence got rid of the ball like they quite easily should have or could have even, then steele wouldn't have been taking all the flack. I don't comment much on the forum but I read an awful lot and I'm certain that Hemsworth-Tyke is a WUM.

I suggest anybody who thinks Steele was rusty, made a mistake, and didn't make at least 3 quality saves, should find an highlights package.
Best player in a BFC shirt according to what I was told by numerous attendees, folk who aren't clouded by their own ego.
And, Wiseman and Cranie were decent apparently, albeit Scott dallied a few times as usual.
But maybe they lied to me.
They thought Silva looked exciting, but fear his end product will be very JCR.

The keepers going to after make saves. Watched Brighton Leeds Firday night and either of them keepers would have kept that out.

I simply offered up a suggestion

To Hemsworth Tyke for a possibility to his assessment of Steele's performance.

    Re: Is it possible

Ring rusty Steele to my mind was our man of the match yesterday by far and proved he is the best shot-stopper we have. Feel a bit for Alnwick but he knew a fit Luke was waiting in the wings and couldn't afford to make the mistakes he did against Forest. As for Amos - well he hardly touched the ball but as he's twice the size of Luke he can me more commanding in his area. Only consolation about Stonesy giving the goal away was it might put off the myriad of scouts from the Premier League who were in attendance (and asking about him!!)

    Not even funny

Maybe you should stop with your childish attempts to belittle whoever you decide to aim at this week.

Last season Steele improved 100% on his coming for crosses. He was commanding the area well, a number of people commented on that.

He has been out from the end of last season to today. Playing in a competitive match is different to the practice games on the training ground. He will need time to get match sharp.

Alnwick is a good keeper, and did not deserve the vitriol aimed at him after last week. He is improving and will be a good signing.

If you have a point to make, say it and then back it up with fact. Trying to be clever with witty remarks does not work at all, and only implies that you have a personal vendetta.

Steele saved us more points than he cost us last season and you don't know either of those keepers would have saved it.

To be fair to him, you've basically just described how most people on here treat Hemsworth Tyke, perhaps this sort of thread is his way of extracting a bit of revenge on folk.

    What a ridiculous comment.
But, as you're obviously of great foresight, do you think Alnwick would have saved it?
Oh, and sorry to Kev. I seem to be arguing with you a lot lately, which perhaps tells me I am wrong. Or a lovely person.

That's just nonsense. Two outstanding saves; one right in front of us at full-length to tip the ball away from an unsighted shot, the second that point-blank reaction save that you rightly say he new (sic) nothing about, but the kind of save that would have them thrapping themselves silly on MOTD if the likes of Cech or De Gea had made it. I've no idea who you are, mate, or why so many folk have it in for you on here, but truth be told, you do come across as a little bit mental.

Were you actually there? He was unsighted, weight on his left, shot from just outside box going in & Steele adjusted to drive full stretch to his right and tip it round the post. Saved a certain goal. Which bit of that did he mess up? Oh, and your spelling is terrible.

Hull had 4 attempted on target. Three got saved. One almost got saved.

And I'd have been coming 8 yards off my line against that strike force. Tutu and drone?

But don't let that stop you in your vindictive efforts in order to validate your point.
