Are people really THAT dumb? Only a song; we should expect racism as people in Barnsley are racist???!!! How can people be that dumb and ignorant?
Ignorant and offensive songs. Some of us are decent human beings and don't agree with this sort of behaviour.
RE: Apparently they ignore it during the match and let them carry on breaking the law Very true, if it is safe to take action against these people during the match the action will be taken however in a lot of cases the police will come knocking on doors well after the game has ended they will also have fantastic CCTV footage as well that will result in banning order being made.
LOOK I've sed it a milliontimes he's a lovely person, av told you who it is..ffs
come see me big man, I'll sort thi art

RE: Apparently they ignore it during the match and let them carry on breaking the law TBH I think this safety thing is a red herring! I watched them escorting a Huddersfield Town fan from the ground without there being a riot.
RE: Are people really THAT dumb? Apparently so, love. I'd have thought it impossible, but I continue to be proven wrong.
That might be the official line but I dont believe it for one minute If they come knocking on doors and arrest these fans then why can I still see the same racist people in the same seats at Oakwell years after they first started singing it?
They dont arrest anybody thats why. Load of cobblers as the only way they will be dealt with is if a steward is brave enough (never gonna happen) or a fan actually does something about it and finds a copper and reports it. Whilst I appreciate most peoples postings to point out how wrong and ignorant it was/is how many would honestly put themselves in it by finding a copper and doing something about it? About time someone did. Otherwise these inbred braindoners will just carry on.
Couldn't hear it from where I was. Could clearly tell that their Asian guy taking corners was getting some stick from a section of the crowd but couldn't tell whether that was "normal" stick or of a racist nature although I did have my suspicions.
Would you be happy bringing black or Asian friends to Oakwell? No.... and why would they want to come?
Adrian Ahmed was certainly getting stick From a lot of fans sat near me . However , this was due to the fact that he'd decided to run forty or fifty yards to get himself involved in a spat between Chris Brandon and Jacob Burns . There's no doubt in my mind that if Ahmed had left well alone ( like all the other players ) , then the two lads would've ended up with nothing more than a ticking off . As it was , they both went into the book . It had nothing to do with the colour of his skin , as far as those fans were concerned .
RE: Adrian Ahmed was certainly getting stick I didn't hear any racist taunts myself, although it doesn't surprise me. Ahmed did look to a very good player, he certainly looks to have an excellent shot on him.
RE: Would you be happy bringing black or Asian friends to Oakwell? I have a friend from Ghana. I've told him how much I love Barnsley FC, and I'd like to get him 'on side' before he starts supporting Sheffield United - which could well happen because he lives closer to Bramall Lane than Hillsborough, and United are obviously going well. I'm really keen to bring him to a game, in the hope that he'll fall for BFC in the same way I did when I was first invited to attend. It DOES worry me, though, the amount of racist bóllocks that goes on inside Oakwell. My friend has, happily, never to my knowledge experienced any racist behaviour directed at him. I do not want that to change because I take him to watch Barnsley. God, no.
RE: Adrian Ahmed was certainly getting stick thats true but some people would rather make it a racist issue
