    RE: Mate, it's £21 per ticket.

    £21 is cheap compared to most grounds in this division

    I'm assuming that the home areas are virtually sold out

    Especially with the pie incentive

    Lepping Lane Upper tier holds only 3700

    The corner, upper and lower tier hold a total of 8000 seats.

    I remember when we filled the end and corner when it was standing room back in the late 70's early 80s. We also had 1000s in around the ground.

    Those were the days :)

    I'm not going but l will be attending around 15 other away games this season.

    Its one of the worst away days ever Swillsbro, stadiums a rusty old bucket, the area's crap for pubs and crap in general (don't know how they dare call us with the state of the Hillsborough area), Wednesday fans are disillusioned and annoying. I'd rather save my money for better away days. Although its a South Yorks derby l don't feel like its such a "cup final" for us anymore like the pig fans think it is, maybe it was in the Late 80's, Early 90's when we rarely played them but they've been in the same divison as us for many season's now over the past 10/15 years.

    We don't need nor want your money, the stadium is ageing but eclipses Oakwell, the plans for the redevelopment look impressive as well, but thats as far off as you lot signing someone (neer)

    Remember a reight tall youth in the Barnsley end

    Started waving across at the cantilever stand at his mates - Wednesday fan - then it kicked off. Stood his ground like, but got a right pasting. Mentalist.
    </p>

    If we're on about that game we won 2-0, 79/80 season.

    Is it not the case that those dirty bástards from Bramall Lane are of much more interest than Wednesday these days?

    If I were only going to one away game all season, I'd pick the skullcrushers. Much of my antipathy towards Wednesday has been transferred to that other lot since the Hume incident.

    I'll be there Saturday, but it's just three points now. Wednesday don't interest or excite me. We might as well be playing Watford for all I care. It's Sheffield United who'll get my vitriol.
