Has the media output really dropped? Look on the official site. Loads of content. There was a meeting with the fan reps and the club only last week. Lots of questions were answered. The shirt launch got the largest exposure we’ve ever had. Mads goodbye video also went viral. It took us just 13 days to recruit a new head coach and assistant but surely we cant expect the club to give a running commentary on the process, can we? Obviously, the club provided some updates via the local journos. Im sure once the new team land next week we’ll start to see media output from them.
Its also close season, players have been away until recently. Its also the only time a lot of the club staff get to take significant time off.

I know in the social media driven world
that there's this hunger for info but compare what our comms team produce with the other teams in the division. Head and shoulders above nearly all of them. Seems a bit unfair to chuck this accusation at them.

The clubs in a better place on and off the pitch since the board reshuffle. There have been so many positives in the last year. We recruited well, had a great season alas cheated out of promtion by a dodgy ref, weve launched a professional womens team, revamped superstore, updates in the stadium to refresh certain areas, we made real improvements to commerical revenue with record sposnorship deals, record season ticket sales, a good core first team squad with more players likely incoming once the new gaffer is in place.

It feels like a there's real reason for positivity. And I add the new head coach into that. The more I learn about him, the more optimistic I feel.
it does feel like some fans are looking for excuse to be negative though? Were on the up.
It was fantastic when the whole fan base was pulling in the same direction.last season. Would be great to start the season in the same way.

On the subject of tickets people seem to have forgotten that our exceptional Head of Ticketing was suddenly and tragically taken away from the club without any notice or warning, and in circumstances where it was quite impossible for her to have passed on or handed over any of her huge knowledge base.

Was meant about season tickets. Are match day tickets even on sale yet. ?
I'll take it you've not been to the ground of late. Of course it's partly to do with staff being on hols. Been down twice in the last week or so. And skeleton staff on duty. (2 on both occasions) I expect that to rise in the next week or so. They've have had a short window to take those hols.
Business will start to pick up as the season approaches.
Going to the ground is an option but not the only one I did put contact em. If your ticket or whatever doesn't arrive a week b4 then by all means be concerned. At this stage it isn't the be all and end all. Most will have the last season ticket updated to be used again.

I must admit it was sad to see Micheal Duff, assistant coach and Mads Anderson leave but I think we all knew if we did not go up it was likely to happen. I did dip after that as it felt we had become rudderless, but now I am excited by the new boss and also his knowledge of the league. Also the links to the local area. I just think that we supporters should remember last season and the strides we made and these players have another year under their belt. I wanted to go up so we could keep Bobby Thomas but he is not our player so nothing we can do about that. I think we should remember what Mads said in his leaving video about the booing he received and how he had remembered that. As Mickey Duff said let’s support the team whilst the match is been played and then show our displeasure at the end of the match but then the boss can do that for us as well. Sometimes on this forum it seems as though some pollsters who would prefer to proved right on a specific point and the club suffers rather than create the atmosphere we had towards the end of the last season,I am sure that is what we all want isn’t it?? COYR !!

But Fylde only moved the match to their small training ground in the first place because their main pitch wasn't ready. As I understand it the original intention was for it to be played at their EFL standard ground.
Remember last season we played our home friendly with Crewe on the Academy pitch bcause Oakwell wasn't ready, and attendance was limited to about 200.

Yes correct. They asked us to move the fixture to Kellemargh Park, their old stadium, now training pitch because their main pitch wasnt ready but unforunately the safety certificate had expired so the article on the club site is correct in that sense.

    Okey dokey.

I think BFC ought though to do a little more explaining to the vast majority of us supporters who follow the team with some interest, and then often don't seem to get pregnant enough explanations to certain situations.

    Thank you gally.

I see your posts regularly for both on and off the field. I'm assured you would of already filled us in if something bad was about to happen.

Enjoy your weekend and role on the season

I don't think anyone is saying it's the be all and end all really. Just that they're a month overdue and haven't had an update. In any other area, if you were told something was due by a certain date and it was now a month late, you'd probably be asking for an update. Not a big deal at all, but I can see why people are asking. If the emails had said 'by mid July' I'm sure no one would be even mentioning it.

Why do some fans know what the big news is and rest of us haven’t got a clue?

Because some fans are seen as better fans by the club because they tow the club line and suck up to the club

Some fans have mates who know people at the club. I haven't got any mates.
