Ronnie Sharp.... That's the gentleman indeed. Very witty epistle..... If you bump into him tell him from the Barnsley fan in Bromley how enjoyable the book is. The other Blade you mentioned i found his first book to be a jolly good read. What let the second one down were the spelling mistakes. Seems a nice bloke though (Y)
RE: Ronnie Sharp.... Would you believe there is another hoolie type book written by a Blade who now lives in Worsbro. His daughter used to work in the Button Mill Inn. Can't remember the title. Ronnie is a charismatic individual. I remember standing outside the Penny Black pub in Pond street with him whilst he ripped the piss out of another Blade who had followed Wendy to Charlton for some reason the previous week. There were lots of characters around in those days.
RE: Oi Blade........... I've read the blade book by Steve Cowens but didn't reckon much to it. Where did you get the one you were talking about from, as i can't find it on amazon or bad boy books where that sort of thing is usually on.
London Did you all have a nice time? where did you go? i've said to your lee i'd love to go again. haven't been and seen the sites, museums since my teens when mum and dad took us. would love to go to the dungeons and lee wants to go to science place. been to london loads of time with my dad for matches but never really get chance to see anything as always in a rush
RE: Ronnie Sharp.... I'va actually read the Blade hoolie book that you mentioned an found that one to be ok too. Certainly much better than a certain Wednesday chap's epistle........ Got say with regards Mr. Sharpe, i reckon he could be a tad encapsulating. The parrot story was brilliant!
Sorry but you weren't at the same game as me yesterday. He wasn't brilliant by any means, but Nardiello was our best forward and the only one who looked remotely like scoring. We have six league games left and Nardiello HAS to play in them all for me. Apart from Howard he is the only other player capable of scoring the goals we need. Odejayi might work hard and 'put himself about' but in plain straight forward English...he's *****. Fact.
