Just got back from the Children's Hospital

She's had some young lads

Asking after her. I'll rip their bloody heads off if they come to the house!!
Bloody teenage lads, horrible creatures!!!

Hope you get yourself well soon and that the antibiotics do their job.

Now about these young lads that are asking after you. What you need to do is find yourself a nice lad that's into heavy rock music, hopefully with a crazy hair style, maybe a dodgy family background and definetly a wednesday fan. Your dad will love him. Oh and he has to be a couple of years older than you too

 

She doesn't know it yet

But I've decided she's spending the rest of her life in a convent!!

 

I'd pay good money

To be there when you try telling her that!

 

I wonder what her reaction will be?

"Yes Dad, that's a great idea" would be my guess.

 

I got the same problem last year.....

and I think I have still got it... It doesn't feel like a big deal... In fact I felt great 'cos I changed my diet, I didn't drink alcohol for three months and I went out for walks and got a bit fitter.... After a while, I thought I'd nailed it and then I slipped back into my Homer-like ways... So, well...... I'll start tomorrow...

but i've never felt bad with it, like.... so... chin up

 

Laura's problem

Is that the medicines she has to take have been a contributing factor to this condition. She has no alternatives available to her, though. No medicine=no Laura. Also, her condition has deteriorated so an increase in exercise and fitness isn't an option as she's so weak. This won't be altered unless she's fortunate enough to have a successful kidney transplant.

Her other drugs giving her the acid stomach that damages the duodenum.... you sure that she is not knocking back the scotch after the chilli pizzas?

Including the new medication I was given yesterday,

I am now on the equivalent of 60 tablets per day (counted 5ml of medicine as 1 tablet) and that's before I add on any painkillers or my inhalers.
It's no wonder my stomach is playing up

Off back to hospital later for the tube/probe taking out then hopefully I'll be able to breathe properly as my nose feels blocked up.
