No I don't.

He is championship standard and we would be a far poorer side if we lost him.

I wasn't able to go tonight as I am on holiday but I have followed them all over, I am lucky enough to have the privelige of watching home and away and i KNOW FOR A FACT Martin Devaney is a class act.

He is a massive asset to this side.

He is not consistent enough - that's his problem but then again, last season, who was it who provided those magnificent assists against Liverpool and Chelsea?

    Aye - Devaney!

I'm with you on this Tina. Easy to criticise players like Devaney who never hide and always try to make something happen. I'd play him every game.

Well... to put it bluntly, I think he's utter garbage (championship level) and I generally stick up for players! Sure, he maybe a good bloke but the fact is he isn't a class act!

You say he'll run about all day and try but he's in the side to cause the opposition problems not run around and chase every body... He always seems to run out of puff after about 20 mins of the 2nd half, perhaps if he didnt spend so much bloody time running about like a headless chicken he'd have more of an effect! He plays like he has no intelligence whatsoever!

Two things I agree on with is he's not consistent enough because he has a 25 min spell every 5 games where he looks like a world beater.. See Wednesday game,.. Having said that he was playing agst a centre half on debut with no pace, playing out of position at right back! And that at the moment we don't have any one better to play so he is an asset to the club (Unless you play Hume but he should be up top!) but for me I'd be looking to replace him in January if not sooner!

Don't wanna get into an argument so lets just agree to disagree :D and agree that we both want to see the club do well!

If you think Devaney is good and is a great asset to this club then god help us!!! Seriously!! He's a weak link!

    rye5098 sums him up perfectley!
