RE: Oh aye, it sounds like it! nt I am. He said my Driving etc is spot on, Just need to know where Gears are eg 2 and 4 mainly. But I been ok with those. But I was nervous today, 1st time been outta Barnsley driving.
You are ready for your test, but you .......... ....."Just need to know where Gears are eg 2 and 4 mainly" and "1st time been outta Barnsley driving". I rest my case!
RE: Oh aye, it sounds like it! nt The gear lever rests above 4 and below 3. Thats how i do it anyway.
I did 60 within one minute getting in the car on my first lesson Was on a dual carriageway doing 70 within half an hour. Not entirely sure why considering I couldn't drive.
I was doing 250 mph within 10 seconds of starting my very first lesson And in my second lesson I was flying a harrier jump jet. ******* beat that.
That's nothing. I was doing just under the speed of light before turning the key to start the car for the very first time. Stalled it mind.
Daft sod We're talking about car driving lessons, you're clearly talking about your first fighter pilot lesson. I was doing about 3438mph (google is great) within two minutes of my first lesson in a real shuttle.
On my 3rd lesson I was piloting the space shuttle on an ultra secretive mission to Mars where I met the Vacto people who took me to a distant star. I got back to earth half an hour before I set off.
RE: What gear was that in? nt That was in first. Those old Fiat Unos could reall shift. Off a cliff. Next to a black hole.
On my fourth lesson... I managed to get a Vectra round a corner in excess of 20mph, and it didn't feel like it was about to flip over or lose the back end. Oh yes. I am the master.
RE: Are all dual carriageways 70mph then? ....... If a roads got street lights it's 30mph (unless otherwise stated). If a road hasn't got street lights it's the National Speed limit (unless otherwise stated) National Speed Limit 60mph on Single Carriageway, 70mph on a Double Carriageway Or Summat Like That Anyway?...... lol
thought it was only 70 mph on a dual carridge way IF it has got a central reservation... otherwise its 60 mph
Had my second lesson this morning In Scarborough around Olivers Mount. Taken to it like a duck to water. Well chuffed with myself
it isn't a dual cariageway without a central reservation is it? It's just a road with two lanes in each direction. The central reservation is what makes it a dual carriageway even if there's only one lane.
