Thanks to the 21st Century traffic system round Wembley we only had time to get off the coach and be straight in/out. Walked past some Cardiff lads grinning, looked them straight in the face (I had stack heels on) and nothing was said/done.

Had something been said etc they'd have been twatted. Simple as. But then again I didn't have any kids to look after thank goodness.

Didn't go to watford - turned me phone off and watched the new series of Property Ladder and The Apprentice to try and change my luck - and it worked. have to think of something to do Saturday aft now, cos working til 1pm so can't get across to PNE.

I was one who raised an issue that happened to my family at Wembley and having read numerous views and opinions, I feel it is about time that we moved on and that includes CCFC supporters. This is a site for mainly Barnsley fans to discuss issues, experiences around BFC and should remain so. There are enough people on here that are controversial enough without adding to it. Please feel free to come back around the time of our next meeting in May or to comment on current issues but don't slag off us genuine fans who love our club claiming we are trying to cause trouble..... to Young Nudger, thanks for the concern and do not stop speaking passioniately about our club, just leave this issue now and lets concentrate on Preston and the most important thing.... THE REDS STAYING UP!!!

    I think it depends ...

...how and where you spent whatever time you had pre-match. If you were holed up in a cardiff free boozer (the Green Man) or were lucky enough to find a decent set of cardiff fans to drink with, you are bound to think what was all the fuss about. If however you spent a lot of time walking around the vicinity of the stadium and had to keep passing groups of them, you will have had them in your face - nasty, confrontational and antagonistic. Maybe it's just their defence mechanism and once you get talking to them most are ok.

RE: I think it depends ...

We were in the Wetherspoon's in Baker Street about 12:30, mainly all Cardiff fans (about a dozen reds including us), was ok, they started singing and chanting which I don't see a need for in a pub and can make it feel intimidating, particularly with tourists in there as well. As that pub was closing at 1:30 due to "licensing restrictions" we then went to Wetherspoon's at Finchley Road, a few pissed up ones singing coming out (don't know if they'd been kicked out or not) a good mix of fans most of who were sat down, pub wasn't too full, and a bit of chatting between fans. On tube before and after the game with Cardiff fans and no trouble at all.

Apologies that I don't have a horror story to tell but I didn't encounter any trouble.

Bluebeard I sat in the Cardiff end at Wembley and had no problems at all, o.k they were Club Wembley tickets but the majority of fans were Welsh decent people who wanted to chat about the game and enjoy themselves. There were quite a few London Reds in there and everyone got along just fine.

    Like I say...

...depends where you were and who you were lucky or unlucky enough to meet. Being a really unlucky person, I passed every ****** from South Wales!
