Hope your right for me I love Cotters effort but most of time he just ties himself up in knots and his final balls not great. Feel a bit sorry for O'Keeffe for me he's not good enough on his strong side. Two options he's not tried Lofthouse in his natural position and Gent give it ago in pizza cup surly worth a try.
You can only coach to a point and that depends on the quality of the players you have. Give the lad time.
For me the problem is the academy set up - we have played this system for a fair few years now - there should be someone who is now of a standard from the academy who can step into the team in that position (or any for that matter) and give the more seasoned pro's something to think about - If they aint good enough for league 1 at 19/20/21 years old then get rid. I've mentioned it before, this highlights the standard of the academy and it could be worth binning off in favour of a development team or some system I think someone on here said Brentford use
Clarke says he doesn't tell them to sit on one goal lead, he doesn't tell them to do this that and the other, but doesn't admit he makes unnecessary substitutions especially Saturday night 3 subs after 10 minutes of second half. Before that we weren't playing great but we were coping . But he goes silly with subs and the wheels dropped off altogether. I know all about he is the head coach and we are only fans, but there are approximately 10,000 reds fans and most of them think the same, they all can't be wrong. And after an initial better start to season with trying to pass and move forward we have now gone back into collins type of play sideways and backwards.. too many coaches and not enough quality indians
