Still read the board now and again, but living in Singapore where there is next to no Championship coverage I tend not to comment on the games anymore. Hardly ever online during the games as they are either late Saturday evening, or early hours Wednesday/Thursday mornings.

I saw that I was up in the high posters still, thats with hardly posting in the past 4 years!!

Am back in the UK/Europe next week for a couple of weeks but sadly my travel doesnt enable me to be anywhere near a game.

I am gonna try have another visit before the end of the season, do folk still go to the Outpost before home games?

had the pleasure of meeting Tina couple of seasons ago when she was kind enough to get me a ticket for an away game with her ST voucher. Thoroughly lovely lady.

    Tuffers is loving Westie.

    Airtyke is loving Martin Bullock.

Acky is trying to start the next people revolution.

I think you will find that Martin Bullock is doing the loving. Airtyke is a bumder.

Been trying to remember Acky's username, if you know what I mean.

Used to enjoy deconstructing his sixth form anarchy. Like shooting fish in a barrel that was.

Wonder if he's been on here by some other name?

I think he's stand out a fcukingmile on here. I dont think anybody left from the main posters would be able to take him on. He disappeared about the same time as Windy.

Maybe he was Windys Alter ego

Can't believe that no-one has mentioned Alityke or Tattershall Tyke ...

Both "old board" regulars and thoroughly nice folks to boot.

Is it the fog of age dulling the memory or was it genuinely the case that there was much more informed and reasoned debate back then as opposed to "Haters and Happy Clappers".

I remember have quite a long debate with the unfortunately infamous Tommy Tyke about Tinkler, and although we completely disagreed about him as a player there weren't ever any insults thrown.

    Re: No Tuffers then?

I once argued Windy to a stalemate, it was impossible to actually win an argument with him as he just kept twisting like a twisty turny thing, for him the point was not to win, but to keep the argument going.

Acky was a different kettle of fish, in may ways the alternate ego of Windy, he was principled and devout and went in to an argument to prove his point. He was controlled by the KGB though.
