    Ha earnshaw, right ******* he was. All the ones you mention were still there when I started. Music teacher once got me the stick for calling him a name, seabreeze i called him, seabury was his name, bit harsh i thought. Only decent one was Rogerson, decent bloke. I was a victim of sherlocks board of education once or twice, a stripped down table tennis bat on yer bare arse. Hmmm, it was normal in the 70's.

    In the 70s everything was normal ;) they'd be locked up now and key thrown away. Hard days but appropriate for the time as you needed to be hard to survive that school.

    Don't know what were worse, pupils or teachers. It was like 5 years in the nick, "character building", reckon it was decent training for the **** that happens in real life!
