Lets be honest

if sven was not in charge walcott would not have gone to the world cup, yes he is very good player from the looks and you have probably produced a world beater BUT so have many other clubs that was my point, and while i think you have a very good academy i also personally think others have better, for example Middlesbrough have some great young players coming through and have produced some very good ones who are in the first team, i.e downing, parnabey, davies, morrison

So have you won the league for the past 3 seasons then?

to say you have the best acedemy says to me you are producing countless players who are going on to play at the highest level, and whilst i think you have produced some veryu good players past and present i still don't think you have the best!

West Ham are another club, Lampard, Ferdinand, Cole, Carrick, Defoe, and johnson, 5 regular england internationals and one who is no better or worse than bridge, this compared to wayne bridge, shearer, and le tiss!?

If you stand by the statement you have the BEST this means you a re effectively saying you are going to do the same as Man U, Leeds, Liverpool and West Ham!

Barnsley has the infra structure to step upto the premiership with regards to ground and youth set up.
One england international years ago.
Who says its the best except you?
You cannot call a player 'premiership class' until he has proved his self at that level.
BWP is fast. As are all black kids who have spent more than a month in Manchester.
The rest are just excuses.

Now **** off.

One England International "years ago"

O.K so you are obviously forgetting Walcott, Crouch, Beattie etc who have all had caps in the previous 3 years?

I was meaning the stadium holding an international.
However, if you really want to be picky only wallcot came via the youth set up at southampton.

O.K, well in that case throw Bridge into the hat as well.

Lets also not forget Englands greatest striker of the last generation came through our youth system.

And that is 1 International more than you, and our stadium has "International" status which means it is classed good enough by the F.A to host England games.

mmmm

I think the international being played there was more about the FA trying to spread the games around than it was to do with your ground. Loads of grounds [outside prem] are of international standard.

The only reason you got one was because the nearest competition was from Fratton park. Where the support would obviously have been better, but I think even they would admit the grounds from the dark ages.

Thats only one more than BFC.
Hardly something to brag over is it?
If you were 'such a big club' as you keep claiming, then how come as soon as a small club like say everton or fulham sniff about one of your players they run off like their arse is on fire?
As for someone offering 8m for Bale, its tabloid talk old chap. Do you think for one minute that the club would keep him with a confirmed 8m offer?
