RE: One of the golden rules - dont make a subsititution when defending a set piece I thought it was Mifsud's cross for Macken's goal (dunno)
I agree with you Poet we should sack davey What a waste of money it is having a manager that has no input into the team. Might as well sack him if he has no control over his players
Muller has been **** for months Davey has persisted with him to such a degree that his other goalkeeper is ready to walk out of the club Yes Davey is responsible when his golden boy fecks up (again)
RE: Not unless he has grown Ah well, I was following Mark Stokes text commentary. That could explain it!
Stop blaming Davey??
He is the manager, the man who picks the team, buys the players, chooses the tactics and the only person who can make changes during a game once it has started (someone should tell him this!)
He has failed to deliver what he should have this season, i feel we have a squad capable of a lot higher league position but he does not get the best out of them.
He is far too negative home and away and his loyalty to players even though they fail to do there jobs week in week out is ridiculous.
Apart from all this he splits the support like no other manager and this is not a good thing for the club, we need a manager to give hope to every fan out there not just the happy clapper brigade.

Davey is not getting the best out of this group of players. The best thing he has done is putting this squad together which is easily a mid-table championship side. Unfortunately, despite a decent defensive record this season, we still haven't got the slightest idea of what to do in the final third. Davey just hasn't got a clue of what to get his players doing in the final third. So sick and tired of seeing strikers running the lines instead of attacking the six yard box. So sick of seeing no movement inside the box. So tired of not seeing us cross the ball early. So pissed off with never having a midfielder making a late run into the box to support the strikers. Had enough of seeing two front men playing twenty yards apart from each other and not communicating. Had enough of seeing a striker deliver the final ball in (who the chuff are you crossing to?). We create maybe two or three reasonable chances per game. We have mediocre strikers who probably score one in four chances they get - so let's do the maths on this - how many goals per game are we going to average? It is painful to see us dominating sides away from home - as we did against Derby and at Watford today - but only to create nine tenths of sweet F.A. We had two, three decent chances all day TOPS. The reason why we have fallen victim to so many late late disappointments, narrow defeats, 0-0 draws that we deserved to win is because Davey can't get it sorted up front (and it's not about the quality of the strikers either). So long as we have Davey in charge we'll be struggling to survive, nail biting every season, playing for draws. He has to go. Todays substitution of Bogdanovic for Hamill was baffling. Baffling.
Couldn't agree more. I don't know how anyone could look at how Hamill was left out of today's side, how Bogdanovic was played out on the wing when Hammill was fit and available, how Bogdanovic was taken off instead of Mifsud when Hammill came on, and then STILL say don't blame Davey. Who the **** should I blame for those stupid stupid tactical mistakes then?
RE: Not unless he has grown No, it was Mifsud, according to my eyes. It was his one decent contribution.
Glad you said that Thought I was going mad or my eyesight detiorating as much as the shiny headed linesman
RE: Macken scored his first goal in 18 games today. Macken scored at Cardiff in the 3-1 defeat 8 games ago and i'm sure that it was definately Mifsud who crossed for Macken's goal today.
your not a tosspot your an idiot! - keep going (shakrhead) when you are playing at the level of lampard and gerrard - yes it does make a difference how they play 'together'. Same as it does Davey playing a right footer at left back!! You lose balance in the side.
