They'll be polishing their soap box as we speak.
It's been a while since I read a novel Just finished the World Encyclopedia of Archaeology and am about halfway through Two Men In A Trench by Tony Pollard & Neil Oliver. But I'm not young enough to have sat any GCSE's.
RE: It's been a while since I read a novel You didn't sit GCSE's so you'll be literate and numerate.
He's done a few novels, rips the piss out of certain 'truths' in the world today. Does it with great humour too.

I've only been on this board less than a year but what I've found frustrating of late which never used to happen at first is that its often impossible to have a proper debate about anything. Everything seems to be black and white and everyone entrenched when the reality is usual somewhere in the middle. Sometimes its annoying when for example, a debate starts about the Colace clearance business and immediatley its hijacked by it being Davey's fault for signing him, or if Teale looked good in parts or not and will he get better with games becomes immaterial because Davey signed him so he's rubbish. I've certainly got caught in the trap of defending players and managers too much becuase I think some of the abuse is unwarranted. IMHO Odejayi isn't good enough at this level but I can also see he puts in 100% and gives us a different dimension when he plays. However, that debate can't happen. I just think we should perhaps have a positive forum, a negative forum and a forum for reasoned debate
Human nature though to polarise things.
You're absolutely right, there's a middle ground somewhere between davey eats babies and he's beyond reproach.
