i don't see him have many shots to be honest, he don't stand out in my mind as someone who shoots a lot.

Sometimes after reading posts on here you realise the shiite some people spout......

Haynes is an excellent striker..........thats why there are so many clubs looking at him

If we lose him, then in the current climate at the club...........we are fecked

Lost our best player in Shackell.........and now losing our second best.........are we setting the stall out for Division 1

    Really really depressing news !!!!!!!!!

I would let him go if we can get decent money for him. 500k+. He is very similar player to Vaz Te so we have got a like for like there. We could use the money to bring a different type of striker in, a poacher, an ALF*. I wouldn't be upset to see him stay, but if the money is right I would certainly consider selling. He has got pace to burn, but he isn't great on the ball, and I am not sure he has got a lot of goals in him even if played up top, like I say Vaz Te can give us all what Haynes can, and maybe more. He will be on a decent wedge too so it may mean we can bring ALF* and another player in, maybe another loan.

*Just using ALF as an example.

haynes can't trap a bag of cement, all he does is run fast, a bit like mick clarke used to.
    can't believe anyone wants him!

I think he scored one every three last season on average.. Which to be fair isn't a bad return. However I do not think he is suited for playing as an out and out man through the middle nor do I think he is a winger. Just doesn't offer enough in either role on a consistent basis.
On top of that in the two games I have seem him play his attitude has come over as shocking.

He (Davies) was denied by good saves from the Reading keeper at least twice on Saturday, which looks like he's capable of scoring to me.

If Hill is getting shut i am sure he has got a replacement lined up. Just remember what he said today about wanting another 2 players, but would mean 2 players on their way out.
Danny Haynes is hit and miss, very raw, very predictable. His only asset is his pace. Craig Davies however has the Effort, Strength AND pace, and i am more than willing to give him a proper chance.
Haynes just doesn't suit Keith Hill's style of work ethic within the squad as we have seen/heard from the last 2/3 games. And on top of all that he will be on top dollar, and we have Vaz Te, who in my opinion is similar, but offers a lot more.

He's looked more likely to score than Haynes! And that was just one game inside 10 minutes!
