We will have to agree to disagree alot of managers have seen what Digby is about. And he hasn't been able to prove his self to any flicker,Wilson and Lee Jay.
I think injuries have been more to do with that. Is it no coincidence that he's been under all those managers and yet never been shipped out or released? I believe there's a player in him, I'm just not sure we'll ever see it.
Four years since he made his debut. Has he been injured all that time? Sometimes you just have to cut your losses. He can't run, can't pass (except backwards, and then inaccurately) and has no physical presence for a lad of his size. It takes more than wishful thinking to make a footballer.
Last time I saw him play in the first team he held hands with the CB's for 90 mins and looked absolutely awful.
A silly, one of hundreds, Twitter account saying something and folk bite. Stop and they might get phased out.
He needs a run of games before anyone can judge him accurately. The lads best development years are been wasted in our reserves. The run of games needs to be either with us or out on loan. He's needed this for about 3 seasons. It's a joke how badly we've managed the situation. When you consider how highly rated he is in football by people more knowledgeable than us on here it'd be criminal if we didn't at least get him a run of games on loan to see how good he can be when properly match fit before deciding to sell him.
Some of it I think is just down to temperament and bottle and maybe he just can't hack it when there is any type of pressure on Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
He looked great on debut a few years ago, then since he has grown he has really struggled with injury's and fitness, lost pace etc. I really hoped he would become a great player....but if you was at his last appearance at home to Fleetwood then it was like playing with 10 men. He cost us the first goal by being way to slow, and then he still could have fouled the kid to stop him scoring. The 2nd half I felt sorry for him as he just didn't want to get involved one bit!
I wondered if your post about Sheffield Wednesday fans was a wind up but there is no doubt that this is. Our best player; it made me laugh anyway.
