You can't blame one man for the poor performance,it is a team game and Lincoln were easily the better team who wanted it more than us. In fact I was impressed with the Lincoln side.

 

Work rate not his strong point. Probably why he ended up here with the kids and other broken toys..

 

Just watched the highlights! Was that Lionel Messi in our box not getting shut down? Where the **** was the defence? Can’t remember seeing a side with so much room to do what they liked. McCart was pulled all over the place. You can’t always play 3 at the back and push forward. Lincoln are a good side, but not that good. We sadly underestimated them.

 

I defended him last season saying once he had had a pre season with us, then judge him. Then at the start of this season, without Luca, I thought he was okay. Not brilliant but decent enough. Since Luca has come back in to the side, Russell has been pretty awful barring the Oxford away game. I know in the context of the game yesterday it doesn’t really matter but that short free kick he took was embarrassing. I wonder if he’d be better suited to a slower paced league.

Harsh to single him out - tone was set well before he got on the pitch. Whole midfield was non existent yesterday. Only Cadden came out with any credibility. Need a massive reaction on Tuesday
