    He neither won owt for england for anytop team.
    Ashley Cole came out and said hes done nothing which isnt good for England.

    PE in schools not properly monitored? How do you work that out?

    I tell you what, it's not the PE teachers who are obsessed with the elite, it's the Government, and sport england. Look at which sports get the biggest amount of funding .... Football, (National obsession), cycling(medals), rowing, (medals). Whilst the whole country is celebrating the Olympics, there are grass roots sports organisations going to the wall.

    For the last few years it's been virtually impossible to track time at EIS in Sheffield, because one athlete, Jessicca Ennis is training there. If you ask her face to face, she's happy to accommodate small groups whilst she trains, but the World Class Programme doesn' t allow it.

    Two years ago, Michael Gove decided to scrap the one thing that was making a massive difference to participation .. Particularly aftrr school...... School sports partnerships. They were a labour invention, so he got shut. End result? Less after school activities, less attendance at community sports events, less transfer into clubs. Good work.

    Then again, two years ago, the organisation I work for, had nine members of staff. We now have three. Still, as long as Jess gets a gold, and we get them in cycling, Seb will be happy.

    Don't blame the PE teachers ....they used to have a fantastic structure to work in. It's gone.
