He's playing regularly at a good standard again. He seems happy. He's more of a complete midfielder now than he was with us. Plays a little deeper with more defensive responsibility. Town fans love him, but then so did the Boro fans. Main game on the FLS tonight. I'll give Powell credit for reigniting the careers of Hogg and Scannell. If the latter isn't Premier League quality then I'm a Tory basterd. Brentford were the best side - bar Derby - that I've seen in the Championship so far. Lovely football they played and with a team of laikers who aren't exactly well known. They had former reds loanee Button in goal, he was very good. And Proschwitz came off the bench and was useless. The lad Pritchard looks a talent, on loan from Spurs. I enjoy watching a few Championship games as well as the reds games, gives me an idea of how far away we are etc. And I'd have to say we're miles off. Defensively anyway. But we'd score goals back in there. But who knows?
Never mind all these silly names for JB, its Buttercup and that's final. Hth. On another note, if we do go up or owt good under Danny, I think Udders Red will self combust........hopefully!
In the Huddersfield Examiner yesterday he got their first ever player of the month award as voted for by people through their social networking pages. Folks I know seem to be pretty happy with him, with the only downside being he's scored so few goals so far this season the games he's played.
I think he'd accept that as fair criticism, Dreamy. But it's not for the want of trying. Another four long rangers repelled today, last week denied by a worldy save. But again today he was key to both their goals and defended/grafted well as Brentford threw everything at Town in the last ten. Norwich away next weekend. Summat to prove.....
I think its fair to say we'd all love him back here as this thread has turned int one about buttercup as for the original post its not only strange its a bit sad. time to let it go fella
