What is your suggestion? When you see somebody letting YOUR football club down week after week, when you see them almost relegated because of this players inability to do the one thig he was signed to do? When you see the manager freezing out the other options and sticking with this one player for 45 games of the season and when during the next pre season you again see this one player letting the side down again. Do you accept he isnt very good and let him get on with it? Why strive to better ourselves. Do you write an angry letter to the chronicle? (presumably he can read) Do you boo while he is on the pitch in the hope that the manager realises the fans are unhappy with the performance of HIS player and changes it? Or do you do something else?
I would too. Imagine that, being called a 'piece of ****' for 2k a week. I'd be in like a flash. But that wasn't my point. DOES IT HELP THE TEAM? ^Yes or No?
RE: What is your suggestion? No. You realise that he is struggling and you get behind him. It was the same with Mostto. He flies 4000 miles across the world. Uproots his very life and people expect him to just 'fit in' and start banging goals in. I'm not saying people can't voice their frustration. I'm just saying, that there is a better way to go about it.
No. He always had the potential, he just needed TIME. Do you really think that 6000 yorkshiremen booing him made Michael Chopra a £5.5 million footballer....? I don't THINK so! Unreal. Haha.
So, me saying: "No, you realise he is struggling and get behind him". ...Not adequate for you? Sorry, that's all I can must up.
RE: I asked what the better way was He did. Encouragement rather than criticism. Would you do better or worse at your job with several hundred people over your shoulder heckling your every move?
