    The trouble last night was

he was getting abuse when he actually played well and made a difference when he came on - surely we should praise him when he does well.

The trouble is some are going to hate him whatever he does

Yet everyone loved Christianson who refused to train and sulked

becuase he wasn't playing and was on more money than KO. Surely thats worse yet everyone seemed to think he was the messiah

and what message does it send out

to players considering a move to Oakwell? Barnsley is already an "unfashionable choice" and we've even been scuppered by WAGs not wantiong to live up North. Better not add a fickle crowd to the list of reasons a player thought the finances were right but a move to Club X seemed the better option.

Booing is B*ll*cks and as far as I'm concerned can be saved for the less intelligent critics.

However, I'm not sure Kayode will come good.

Thats a spot on opinion. Personally I think and hope he might but the fact is we shouldn't boo our own players and if I thought he was useless I wouldn't boo him

I don't boo, but I do sulk when a player isn't playing well. Then again, I am a foppish, prissy, drama queen.

    Very good post.

If Ferenczi was black…. Is all I can say.

Odejayi is by far a better player than Ferenczi and people sing Ferenczi’s name.

Barnsley fans are the worst in the country. Only our idiotic fans can attempt to cripple one of our own player’s confidence before the season starts.

Just shows what a backwater town it really is, peoples attitudes are stuck in the 50’s.

As do most people. If I spent a fortune travelling to watch Barnsley week in, week out as many posters on here do, I probably find it harder to restrain those emotions, but the fact Kayode isn't good enough is Daveys problem not his. People need to channel their feelings in the right direction, Davey is sticking by him and by doing so, he's asking the fans to.

I cannot comprehend people actually defending booing on reflection though. I'd rather hold my hands up and say, "I shouldn't have done that"

    Another load of *****

I've never known a player that has commanded so much support yet produced so little.

I do like a good sulk, though

Sometimes accompanied by my lower lip being stuck out in a childish manner. I never boo, but I sometimes hiss, or shout out things like "For shame" in an aggressive manner.
    I'm not a real fan.

    Don't agree with booing

But I've heard very little of it aimed at Kayode. One match springs to mind but the very next game he was applauded as a hero due in large part to fans being embarrassed by their behaviour in the previous game.

    I'm incapable

Of doing anything in an aggressive manner, if I'm honest.
I use a chintz patterned fan on such occasions. Very butch, very me.

    No, it doesn't

But some people are only happy when they're abusing our fans. Reasons for which completely escape me.

He got abuse last night from the second he walked on the pitch, and the worse thing was with it being a small attendence you could here every word. It was embarrasing to be a Barnsley supporter last night. The best of it is, got talking to some York fans who said how well he'd played and what a difference he'd made when he came on

    But the criticism

Is never leveled at themselves, always at others.
