Nah, Jay's right. Considering how talentless he is the booing/abuse has been relatively muted. I've heard a lot worse aimed at Barnsley players in the past.

When it does occur I suspect the vast majority of fans booing are expressing their frustration at him being on the pitch rather than it being personal abuse.

Not that I codone it as I don't think I have ever booed a player myself. That said, I wouldn't have any problem with someone booing a player for lack of effort...that for me is criminal. Clearly that isn't Kayode's flaw...he's just a terrible football player.

I think it's time for me to go to work.

You're a bit like me, only fatter obviously

I once was so upset with a performance that I thought long and hard about writing a strongly worded letter.
But never did a big boo

I think you'll find I'm right actually. Jay's rubbish. He only posts on here while he's getting his breath back from trampolining.

He also uses hairspray while he's on it.

What's wrong wi booing it shows the players, manager and board etc that there needs to be change and for the respective player to get his finger our his arse.
Odejayi doesnt work hard and very rarely gets into good positions and even if he gets into goalscoring positions he doesnt have the composure or technique to do anything with it, I can see why fans feel sorry for players being booed as it is fairly demoralising but I dunt gi a ****, when you play for my team which at the end of the day it is OUR (the fans) team we can react however we want. I bet Mr Odejayi is on around 3 Grand a week which is possibly the biggest Joke of all do you think he cares what I or anyone else think of him. Aslong as he has his nice pay packet and car etc I am sure he'll find a way to sleep at night. If I wanna boo him i'll boo him so shutup moaning cause he is ****

here, here mate, i agree with u, but no there will always be a minrotiy of people, who for what ever reason dislike a particular player, and will give him abuse at every oppertunity, even if he is palying well...

RE: Yet everyone loved Christianson who refused to train and sulked

I honestly never thought Kim was any good either. I'm glad he's gone as I will be when KO and Istvan go too.

Not criticising their effort just saying we need more ability on the books in order to be successful.

You played to a decent level?

You kept that quiet. Why didn't you tell us all before. We'd have been in awe of you much earlier knowing that.

That said, agree with a lot of the issues raised. Booing is pointless. Unfortunately, it's part and parcel of the modern game. It costs a lot of money to go nowadays, and if people don't think they're getting value or they don't like what they're seeing, they're going to air their feelings.

As for Kayode's 'potential' - if he had that much, he'd have fulfilled it by now. he's at a striker's peak age. We're going to see the odd game where it makes you think: why can't he do that every game? The fact that he's playing for us somewhat proves that he can't. Pity, 'cos he has all the physical attributes, but he doesn't use them well enough, and for a striker, he still doesn't seem to know where the net is. Hope he proves me wrong and bags 30 this season. He won't, mind. He won't get half that. Be lucky if he gets a third of that.

    It might mean altitude wise?

I've played below sea level before. Well I fetched a ball from the sea if that counts.

    Disagree.

Chopra always looked good and put the effort in. Most people were still too busy fawning over Nads to realise just what an addition Chopra was to the side. It took time, that's all.

    "For shame"

    So that's you, is it?

"Sir, I do declare that you failed to go into that tackle in the manner from which winning the ball was a feasible end result. Therefore, I brand you a coward, sir. A coward, I say. What's more, I have serious doubts about the arbitrator’s parental lineage, and I would ask that you make this known to him in no uncertain terms, if you'd be so kind?"

Not in the slightest. I just don't think he's very good.

I haven't heard much worse directed at one of our own. That is the problem I am having reconciling all this. We have had far more useless cretins than Odejayi leading the line, who have only received a fraction of the abuse. Marc Richards and Tommy Wright for example looked no better than pub players most of the time they were here. Come to think of it Bruce Dyer got a lot of abuse as well. Mmm, is there a pattern emerging? Deep rooted, in some cases sub conscious prejudice.
