You must admit that you have one strong grudge against oddjob.

then you will notice that I want him to suceed, Therefore making me eat my words criticising him.
I make no bones about doubting his ability and doubting his quality, but if he keeps getting a shirt then that is enough .
I think he is playing above his level, but that is not his fault.
I do have a problem with other posters sayiong its all the fans fault that he is not scoring, that is blatently untrue, the fans dont make him miss, neither can the make him score, no matter how much they get behind him. I wish that was true.

See how much nicer it is to have a banter, than to start slagging others off.

Im sorry, but goals in pre-season against conference sides, players that cant make it professionally in england and the highest standard being Bradford just dont cut it with me.

I just cant forget the 72 games with 8 goals as a return for a striker.

If we have to play the likes of KO and Disco every week we will be relegated by Christmas. Somehow we got out of jail this afternoon. My first half summary was words to the effect that we've had all summer to build a team and that's all we've been able to turn out. Disappointment turned into disbelief by the final whistle. Credit to the lads for sticking at it.

 

Compared to me Moore is like Dwaine Chambers. ps How do you feel about Oddjob for centre back, bags of pace & strength not many would get past him ?

 

I have said before that he is a natural for that position.

He does not have to go near their goals and we know he wont score own goals, cos he cant score in any nets.

 

I'm not sure who is winding who up now? Maybe we should have a meeting with Davey to suggest this idea.

No I really do think he would be better at centre half.

He plays better when he does not have time to think, in defence he would be more involved and therefore he would not be able to dwell on the ball. He seems to suddenly get a fearful dread when he is going towards goal, at the back this would not be a problem.

 

I agree, but i cant see it ever happening unfortunatley.
