    Has anybody thought at about whether Stendel is bothered he's leaving?

    A player is only worth what a team will pay for him. Whenever Stendel looked to change the system last season it was always Moore that was sacrificed so we all know Woodrow is the main man. All this outrage is understandable, but if it does go through with add ons we'll have made 400% profit on this payer and rising.

    It's also naive to not think we have a replacement lined up and probably one that Stendel wants. The best thing about Stendel last season that was most impressive is that he inherited players and got them to play his system. We've got to hope longer term that with his own players, identified to suit the system, we'll improve even further.

    Seems like smaller Championship teams are still able to raid us whenever they like.

    I thought the new era might mean that the likes of QPR and Reading would no longer get a free run at our players.

    Since then, Preston, Brentford and seemingly now Wigan roll up and take whatever they want.

    It's very disappointing.

    If his agent insisted on putting a clause in his contract before signing his contract the club will have also insisted on benefits for them.
    If three million is the clause there’s nothing anyone can do .
    Maybe he wouldn’t have signed if BFC had insisted it be higher , who knows ?
    These contracts are not exclusive to Barnsley all clubs will have them and the more financially secure the club the better negotiating powers they’ll have .
    If Moore goes it will be his doing not the clubs on this occasion .
    We could wait until he had only 12 months on his contract but we may have an unhappy player on our hands,no one knows .
    I don’t want to see Kieffer go but I also don’t want an unsettled player amongst our squad

    Be a good deal for us imo, wasnt the same player when he came back from injury and hardly played during pre season

    I'm defo one of those who said that. Guess we will have to see how much the obvious undisclosed fee is...

    How are Wigan affording this and staying in financial fair play regs? Already splashed 2.5 mill on Jamal Lowe, another 2 mill on some young Everton left back, quite a few free transfers and loans. Not sold anyone for a fee either..baffling.

    He only played 138 minutes after coming back from injury. Hardly played pre-season as I suspect Stendel isn't too fussed if he leaves.
