In his interview he said that at the time he thought that he would be having another year with Burnley and so he purposefully booked it during international break and cleared it with their manager. When we approached him he told Danny that he was getting married on the Friday and as we were playing on the Saturday Danny told him that if that was the only stipulation then they would sign him and he could have it off. Now that the match has been rearranged for the Sunday he said that he will offer to play if needed and that to be fair to his wife she said she doesn't mind if he plays.

So can we now just offer our congratulations to him without the snide comments?
