What are the disasters that were instigated by the board?

It is funny that the ones who complain about the posters who always whinge about the club (you know who you are) suddenly go silent when stuff like this happens. You can't have it both ways. All about balance.

I didn’t mean Naughty naughty, just falling out with someone in charge?
Definitely needs explanation. You’re right, mate. In many ways, this is a bigger deal than changing managers, every fcking season.. :)

I suppose the key question is where does the work go? I see that News Images lot kicking about - wonder if it's them?

There becomes a point of cost v value...always felt there was a better opportunity to commercialise some of Stretch's images, I've bought a good few in the past. Opportunity missed.

I keep seeing comments that the club needs to explain themselves. Why? They've decided to go in a different direction. It happens in life, get over it and move on.

Knowing Stretch, his calm and dignified statement was exactly what I would have expected; I suspect we won't get any statement from the club. This is a massive own goal by the powers that be at the club, and makes a nonsense of their slogans such as "my club, my town", "Community club", etc.

People who think nobody can/should criticise the club when they pull stunts like this, and suddenly disappear.

Would he have grounds for unfair dismissal if being sacked for no reason ?

I still don’t know what you’re on about? Are you saying everybody who doesn’t slate the club is a TW4T? I didn’t notice anyone disappear? Except for people who got banned for abusing fellow members of this page? & Hemsworth Tyke of course. But that kid has mental health issues, so I don’t judge.
Yes, things have been a bit rocky recently, but I have bigger things to worry about than Barnsley fcking Football Club.
Trimming this nasty old terrier’s claws for a start.:)

Thing is it's a business and businesses make unpopular decisions which sadly at times turn out to be bad decisions....this is a bad decision and we'll never kno why it was made but unless someone at Grove street swallows a massive (bigger than Wednesday) piece of humble pie and reinstate's him then we either vote with our feet or take it on the chin. One for the West stand fiasco file tho.

A long time ago, Mrs Scoff was a work experience person at Barnsley library and a full-time role came up. She was encouraged to apply for it, but it was eventually given to a disabled girl - who couldn't physically do parts of the job (like reach the higher shelves or carry piles of books around to restock). The girl lasted a few weeks before quitting and they wanted my wife to apply for it again. She was persuaded not to by her mother.

That decision cost the library a good worker and my wife a potential career.

Club should be ashamed but let's be honest they don't give a toss about us fans or the real workers behind the scenes
