Read an article on Comoli, Liverpool and the American owners. They wanted to emulate the Moneyball stats system. So they bought the best header of the ball statistically in the Premier League (Carroll) and the best crosser statistically (Downing). The problem is they failed to understand any context behind the stats, most importantly that headed goals from crosses account for very few goals.
Re: serious question No but if you are judging somebody then before you condemn them you have to consider all the facts, not just the ones that support one particular view point.
The stats are irrelevant when you consider the massive wage reductions and the lower league playes brought in. In fact, you could do a statistical analysis of anything and prove anything by the stastiscal analysis..... The stats don't take account of circumstances do they? Or do they?
Ed Zackerly! MR blew his budget on wasted loans mainly O'Connor & co & PC would not finance any furth bad decisions he had in mind!!
Re: serious question maybe you could do a better job with no money to spend and idiots like you slagging him off all the time. Hill is the best manager about and we are lucky to hav him and be playing footy like barcelona with cheap players. maybe you would prefer davey the clown back or be so bored you fall asleep watching robins crap football. people who slag off hill havent got a clue at all.
