    iIt was a let down yesterday but only because expectations had been lifted.

    still think survival is a good achievement when you are realistic about the relative financial strength of the reds and other teams.

    Maybe because of the ***** he takes when he does post it.
    It is getting fecking ridiculous on here lately, there are a few just waiting for certain posters to say something then they are onto them like a Wolf on a bone! It matters not what they say or if what they say has any truth in it , they are attacked because they dare say something that is not in praise of Hillflicker, when in all honesty his record is pretty poor, yet it is now deeemed to be a hanging offence to say what you fel UNLESS you want to praise Hillflicker and love them and want their babies, because in that case no matter how over the top it is, THAT IS OK !!!!

    He only posts deliberately obtuse B******s...he, I'm sure knows that and only does it to get on other peoples t**s,
    as to the wolf and bone stuff...I think he'd be very disappointed if his posts were just ignored,and seems more than happy to play a devils advocate(I'm being generous to his motives...probably)to just provoke a reaction,no matter how damaging to the long term interests of this forum.....reminds me of Barnsleys version of Brian the Blade...only brighter than Brian.......which is the saddest aspect

    Do you know what is more damaging to the long term interests of this "forum"? The increasing conformity on here and the fact that anyone who has a differing opinion is either on a wind up or is ****. Sort of makes the board pointless really.

    According to quite a few on here Dave Bassett wasn't responsible for taking us to the play-offs with a record points total and goals scored, its the same ones saying Hill isn't responsible for giving us the worst half a season in two generations......mentalists

    To be completely serious for a second...

    I'm more than comfortable being labelled as a happy clapper. I f.cking love Keith Hill. His smile, his persona, his music taste, THAT coat etc. But the reason I like him as a manager is that he's taken us on as a project. A project aimed at proving to everyone that a football club can be run properly, can only spend what it earns, can develop young players and can play quality football. I don't kid myself that we're going up. I don't kid myself we're going to finish in the top 10 even. If we stay up (again), it's an achievement. That's not the ambition, granted, but it's still an achievement. That's why when we're poor I can forget about it and move on - I know we're going to lose more than we win.

    What winds me up about posts like this (and Conan in general but it's not only him) is that they completely (and deliberately) ignore the quite obvious context and situation Keith's worked in for the past 12 months. A board that's not particularly helpful in terms of long term planning and getting the money we should for players, a low wage bill etc. I also know after January we were w@nk. I was there for the majority of games. But there were reasons for that - well documented on here. Some of them were Keith's mistakes, some weren't. But it's quite obvious to me that this year he's learned from those he made.

    We talk about the board not planning long term but it seems like some folk on here refuse to look at us in that way either. Course we're gonna have **** results. We're gonna have blinding ones as well. But the reaction to both on here is just mental.

    So, in summary, everything's ok. Not ****, not amazing, ok. So kids just need to chill out a bit. Watch a bit of Redtube. XHamster. Maybe meet a lady or summat. It's not that important. But I think we're getting there. Slowly but surely.

    Last serious post today, I'm gonna get back to being a right lovely person shortly.
