He said that bit was filmed around Lundwood. I've always thought the bit where he reads the Dandy was Blacker Hill, looking over Dovecliffe. There was a pit at the bottom. I know the spot bit don't remember the pit, it went in the 70's.

 

He walks up Priory Road, Lundwood, directly past my Nan's house.


As for Dai, I worked at Booker cash and carry about 5 or 6 years ago, and he was a regular customer. Very skinny bloke, wore cords and a knitted jumper, but still easily recognisable.

He always bought loads of stationary and sweets. Never asked him what business he had that needed those items, though.
