Ponty72, I don't think you're altogether correct there. I sit to ther ight of the D. box and often see visiting managers come to look at and to assess us because of becomming their opponents in the near futre. I can honestly say that, I cannot recall an opposing team manager ever being sat in the D.Box. They generally sit immediately behind it.
Mick McCarthy was at Barnsley last season when Wolves wern't playing................ ..................he was sat with another guy at the north side of the West Stand - not in the directors box Nowt up with Mick, but why cant they shove others in that direction If Chris Morgan wants to come back and watch Barnsley where is he going to sit ? Surely the club have to make it clear that managers and players such as Morgan and Blackwell are no longer welcome at Oakwell That dosen't mean all the Sheffield United staff are barred..........just them
*Windy* Over here behind all the posturing When any club wants to scout a BFC game they get tickets for free from the club as all clubs do for each other. The tickets that we give to scouts are always for the directors box area. This is so they can use the facilities directly under the stand.
When Sheffield United call and ask for tickets to be put on for whoever it is always done as a matter of course. Much in the same way as Sheff Utd would do with us.
Blackwell wasn't invited he merely asked for tickets so he could scout either a player or the teams on show.

the voice of reason don't know why people can't see that, I would have thought it was blindingly obvious. God help the maltese national manager if he comes scouting and nudger see's him
Windy I am more inclined to ask Why is Young Nudger still allowed to rant and rave at other people in Oakwell. Clearly he is a buffoon. Blackwell is as entitled to come to Oakwell as much as any other manager in the league,. IIf you have a problem with him sitting in the Directors box, take up your crusade with THE DIRECTORS, they are the ones that will be able to give you an answer, not people on a FANS forum. Good luck.
Thanks for the adult reply mate.
In my opinion he shouldn't have been allowed in there. Whatever egreement exists between the management of the respective clubs whoever allowed him into the directors' box showed complete disregard for the feelings of the supporters.

I suppose I was asking for opinions.
Suggestions maybe.Not thequestion pickedto pieces.
**** me.

Directors BOX.
Was it "blindingly obvious" to you that TN referred to the "directors box area" Rothred?

Two things Nudger.
We don't know what kind of action is possible or what kind of action will be taken when the loss is quantifiable.
And you've got to watch how you word things mate.

To be honest mate the Directors box has been used for this for years I've been in it a few times over the last few years when the old man worked for other clubs.
I believe the reason it is used is that it is the only cordened off section in the entire ground which also has facilities to have a free tea coffee and a sandwich etc underneath.
I used this very same kind of freebie recently when we played the **** from S6. We had a place for free grub etc and then we were sat in with the Pig fans round the directors area.
