Intolerance to religion. I recently read carl Framptons autobiography he talks about growing up in tigers bay(protestant area in northern island) and how from a young age they were told the people in the Catholic areas wanted to kill them etc. This sort of thing is just the same. Tommy Robinson and his mates aren't religious.

 

Vicious circle that's been going to since Religion was created by Humans sadly.
Some Muslims kill in the name of their God, some Christians kill in the name of their God. Someone is wasting their time? Could it be everyone?

I'm not condoning that behaviour or any hate speech from the moron you have just mentioned.
Just that religion has been a massive force for evil, suffering and oppression and continues to be so.

 

You think the people on this hate rally are religious? You think they practice any form of Christianity? No and neither does Robinson he's just trying to divide people and thick lovely people hang on his every word.

 

Tbf those injuries have always been more likely than getting skewered through the hand by a pencil.

 

No they probably aren't overly religious. However the evil acts of people in the name of Islam are used to increase the hatred. Often this is sadly directed and peaceful, well meaning people.

 

That same democracy that stopped folk going to protest against other workers. Making secondary picketing. Illegal. That stops us travelling to away games within 10 miles of that away game on route. That doesn't allow alcohol on coaches attending a sports event.
But that allows Tommy Robinson to spout his bile and a following made up mainly of far right extremists.
Too much is made of democracy sometimes Where the majority can lord it over a minority when it doesnt affect themselves.
It's probably the best we've got but far from perfect.

If, as your username suggests, you're 31 you need to grow the fuck up. There are a lot of reasons for younger people to feel angry these days but despite what people might tell you, the people to blame for the problems and the decay of society aren't ethnic minorities and/or Muslim. They're white people who claim to be Christian.

Imo All sectors of society have their own issues, with extremists creating mayhem. among those willing to listen and follow their ideologies.
