Re: Wouldn't go that far Sorry mate, you're wrong. I thought he should only be played at right back. Didn't think he was much cop at right midfield.
Re: Wouldn't go that far Soory and it not a personal attack but i remember JOB was **** , Hassell is world class and Tripier should play instead of JOB
Re: Wouldn't go that far Poor memory then I'm afraid. Although I fully admit I didn't rate O'Brien in his first season, but I thought Devaney was the better option not Trippier. Never though Bobby was world class though, just a solid championship defender. And I thought Trippier's best performances were at right back.
fair enough no hard feelings thats what this place is all about its well documented that I have always considered bobby excellent ability to loose a man was a liability, but his last min tackles often got him out of the **** and that the reason many think he is a hero cos the love the last min thing but forget why he needed to do it in the first place
Yet you think Wiseman is good, Hill himself said that is Wisemans best attribute, it is bad if your name is Hassdell , but great iuf your name is Wiseman!!!! Strange. I still dont think Trippier is that good a defender, a great attacking player , but poor at actually defending. Which is a pity. It seem that in todays game being able to actually defend is secondary to being able to run fast up the wing and get caught out of position. In which case he will fit in well at Arsenal.
Keith had the chance to sign Trippier upon arrival, yet chose to recruit Wiseman. Source? Tripps himself. Ah well, that's proved to be a great decision. . Ask the Burnley fans about Tripps - they also think he's a winger, and can't defend. They can't stand Shackell either. But at least they have Europe's leading marksman.
