No, but ManUre should I personally dont care what the other teams should and should'nt do Ark. When asked in a poll if I think Keith should go or not, Im honest enough to say yes he should. And Im not the only one it seems.
Your implication being I'm not being honest? No, sacking Hill when we aren't in the bottom three, despite a terrible injury crisis, and the fact that our performances have deserved far better this season, and we have the smallest budget in the league, would be horrible.
No Ark I dont know you, Im not a long term poster on here so I woulndt make such a claim against you or anybody else I didnt know. I agree with you that we're in a horrible situation and the old 'manager out' stuff again is the last thing I wanted to see happen. Sacking Keith will cost us and we probably wont get a better replacement with the funds available right now. BUT, he is taking us down this season in my opinion and its only a matter of time before it happens!
"Sacking Keith will cost us and we probably wont get a better replacement with the funds available right now." I just don't see how this can possibly be the best option
Back him its simple. At the moment everyone is looking at the shorter term and its hard to see where our next win is coming from, look at the bigger picture its different theres is going to be stability and that. Who is really better than Hill out there with these player.... THE SURVEY SAYS X
The option is that some sort of change might actually 'change' our fortunes for the better, and we might actually stay up this season. Its a big risk to take and its doubtful when you look at the crap that Keith has signed, but it IS an option.
Hill has signed what the budget allows. The players as individuals aren't good enough, but Hill has managed to make them greater than the sum of the parts. This will be more successful in the long term than someone who comes in and makes us lump it up front.
No, you BELIEVE it wil lbe more succsesful! We are too easy to beat. All the nice tippay tappy passing in teh world will not hide that fact
Lets say we stick with Keith - he takes us down, when do you then say ok we need to cut loose - after 10-15 games in league one perhaps again what if we are struggling again then?, but then there could be that nagging feeling - why didn't we make a change when we still had a chance to stay in the Championship. Of course we could go down and then cruise League One (shiver at the thought of that pub league) I do genuinely want the Keith Hill 'project' desperately to work for BFC, sadly with each passing game this seems to be getting further and further away from it, surely the target is improving on results, that doesnt seem to be happening in my opinion.
Stick by him, he is the right man for our circumstances long term, whether you like him or not he can develop players and that is our only hope at the minute, football is far too short sighted. End of the day we are on a league 1 budget and staying up would be regarded as an achievement.People are acting like we are rock bottom when we aren't, plus it is a very hard league, look at :Charlton vs Cardiff, anything can and is happening!
If he stops talking ******** back him, if he continues sack him. PC should have him in the office and tell him to stop running the club down & get on with keeping us in the championship.
What do you class as too late? Relegation? IF we were to get relegated this year, would you go to the expense of bringing in a new manager then? if anything our budget would get tighter. There is nobody out there who could do this job on the budget this football club has. So why go to all the trouble of sacking Keith? Mark Robins was brought in to work on a budget and even he got hacked off, i'm starting to come around to the idea of investment.
I am a hill supporter but begining to wander what the heck is going on at oakwell he seem more content with being linked with another manegerial position instead of focusing on what really matters the job he was given to do at oakwell so un bury your head keith and lets get back to reality and winning
Hill's getting to the point where he doesn't have long left. Though I don't think the people that run the club are really helping. Takeover or no takeover he needs some funds or we're f*cked. Last 4 games: 0 points, 1goal for, 8 against. Not looked particularly like scoring the last 3 games. Would be interested to see how many shots on goal we have "amassed" in that time. Take the Birmingham game out of our season and it would look a whole lot worse. Dreading our next 2 games against Bolton and Cardiff
