It really was a sublime quality goal.

Have we worked out why the centre back was in the box yet?

Not very often I say this even when we are winning.

The ball delivery and final ball were world class yesterday I'm not even joking

Apparently Jon Stead has said it's something they'd worked on in training. If you look at the angle on the highlights, you can see Kitching pointing forwards and making the run, very much like he did for the goal against Wednesday last season.

Cole’s movement dragging the centre half out of position and creating the space for Kitching’s run..

Wasn't it us? I'm sure I remember him trying to clear one over the bar and absolutely smashing it past the keeper, might have been against Leeds.

A kick, but neither volley or half-volley.

It’s a Wilder tactic. The wing backs hold positions & the attack comes through the middle. :)

If the two players involved had been de Bruyne and Haarland we'd be seeing it on Sky Sports news every ten minutes all week. The skill and technique shown by both Kane and Kitching in executing the move was way above L1 level and wouldn't have looked out of place in any top league in world football.

It bounced once after he chested it down. That's a half volley where I come from.
