Totally agree pep is great but klopp pushed him all the way and season they won prem they were awesome. Felt bad for my brother he is a lfc fan but they couldnt do a parade due to covid ******. Would of been a great day out
Think he's doing the right thing. I know he's well paid but must take it out of you giving your all to the rile like he has for 6 years.
I agree, but don't forget that they were quite happy to chalk on the prem and join the European super league which will be the big boys greed league!
I only said to a colleague the other day it wouldn't be long before he leaves and Xabi Alonso will replace him.
Can see him having a good summer break and becoming German national manager, usually always something kept under wraps behind these decisions
Said he told the club of his decision to leave back in November so I would expect that they are fairly well on with identifying a preferred candidate to replace him. As some have mentioned above, wouldn't be surprised to see Xavi Alonso get the gig.
Slightly earlier team with Giggs, Sharpe, Kanchelskis, Cantona etc for me going forward. They were devastating on the break.
In terms of achievement, Fergy was the best, better then Paisley, better then Wenger. Yes, they had money, but they still won beyond their expected level.
Sky sports absolutely laying an egg over it! Can you imagine if he’d announced this next Thursday on the last day of the transfer window? They would have imploded and disappeared in a cloud of smoke !!
Always liked him from his first press conference at Liverpool when he referred to himself as 'The Normal One' as a gibe at Mourinho.
