Just to answer your question. The ticket allocation works on a 70/30 split so 70% to what is called top cappers and 30% in a random draw for rest of allocation. Caps are gained by attending games 2 per game for each game attended but it is only measured on the current and previous campaigns so at the minute any games attended post France 2016. The fa were allocated 670 tickets so around 200 for the ballot which was heavily over subscribed and the reminder to top cappers. The most caps available at the moment is 64 and the original cut off to get a ticket was 56 but due to some high cappers not taking tickets it was reduced to 52. So to put into context you would need to have attended 25 games since France 2016, you get a renewal cap for each campaign which also drops off every second tournament, to get a ticket. This does not include tournament games as no caps are allocated for these. That’s a lot of games to attend. Hope this gives you some idea. I myself am on 30 caps so got nowhere near, part timer or what.
Cheers for that, it shows that the biggest die hards of them all were those that got a ticket. That's an easy read you gave as to how the two year system works.
