I wouldn't say the best manager ever but he speaks well. As others have said 'talk is cheap'. That being said I really don't understand 90% of the flack he gets on here. He's no worse than any of the previous 6 managers or so imo and with a bit of time I honestly think he'll do alright.
Beat me to it. We may aswell give the job to one of the fans if 'caring' is all thats required to be a good manager. I see the team were at some prison escape course thing yesterday, team bonding apparently. Think the need to sort out the bonding on the training pitch first and foremost. What a load of drivel ! You can say anything you want, but if you say things like , LJ is the best manager ever, the get ready for some flack ! Saying positive things and talking ***** are different things !
The time is for patience mate... New young squad.. noun: patience 1. the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious
Must be a wind up otherwise I just hope his boss is not on this site otherwise come Monday he'll be walking to the job centre.
The time for patience has passed. Now is the time for improvements to be shown. Unfortunately that isnt happening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If the time for patience has passed then presumably you believe he should be sacked if we don't see immediate improvements on Saturday?
Won't be calling for his head but Lee Jays cause will certainly not be helped by another tepid display. The team are getting in a Rut and one that we need to get out of prefabably starting on Saturday. I certainly hope he starts learning from mistakes a blind man would see.
I will say now with 100% certainty that Johnson will never get us promoted from this league. That alone might not get him the boot. What will get him the boot is when people become so tired with the football that the gates are down to 7,000 - 7,500.
Read the post above and ones I have previously commented on. A full season without calling for his head. But if Carp I will say so
"The time for patience has passed" was the quote you agreed to so convincingly initially. So are you going to be patient for the season or has the time for patience passed?
I knew little about the bloke as a manager when we appointed him, but I instantly liked the cut of his jib. I enjoy listening to him, even if he does use some cringeworthy terminology at times. However, I've not seen much evidence in games that suggests he's making much of an impact there. But considering the many changes over the last six months it was always likely to be a longer process than many have the stomach for. Some of the posts in this thread (after six ******* league games) are mental. It's not been great so far this season, but it's not been as bad as some are making out either. I just hope Mr Cryne is true to his word and actually supports this latest choice of his, especially through a sticky patch. I'll cry if we sack another manager this season.
