    I know what you're saying but the Europa League isn't really a good example because barely any of our teams take it seriously probably because the prize money's poor.

    It'll be interesting this year because Martinez has made it clear Everton will try & win it & they were excellent in the group phase.

    I know Spain's had some success in it but often it's the teams from the 'second tier' leagues such as Portugal, Russia & Ukraine that focus on it & get to the latter stages

    I think the big problem is our clubs don't have an identity in the way they play & have a massive change around in players most summers where as in Spain even though the manager will often change the personnel & style of play doesn't so even though our bottom of the premiership teams have a lot better players than the teams at the bottom of La Liga it doesn't really show on the pitch

    Prefer La Liga over Premiership.

    Better football, better grounds and much better players.
