    No.

You've got a bit more about you than a lot of people.

The small print as it were put me off going down that avenue.

This is the problem, small businesses are the least likely to be able to absorb any large increase in NMW.

    Solutions available to them :

    1. Have less jobs and make the people remaining work harder (yes, that's you messing about on the BBS in office hours sunshine!)
    2. Get rid of 21+ year olds and replace them with cheaper under 21's (not working out for BFC either)
    3. Put up prices, and lose sales to bigger companies who can swallow it (rich getting richer)
    4. Go bust, or make it not worthwhile for small business owners to carry on (sad, but true)

None are ideal really. Politicians really need to think about how big business and small business are treated. "One size fits all" rules don't work for the benefit of the country and it's folk.

All companies file annual accounts with Companies House, surely it wouldn't be too difficult to have a two tier turnover/profit system rewarding entrepreneurship and penalising the big corporations making excessive profits.

So the problem is with the mortgage system - same interest rate for all then. Watch it rise...

Tax banks and big business. Increase wage to £10 an hour. Subsidise small businesses with money from banks and big business.
