    When crowds are allowed back, the club should invite this kid to sing this at half time and show the video on the scoreboard.

    Hi Paul.

    Yes! Jake is a member of the Barnsley Youth Choir who are a top ranked quoir in the whole world In all age groups.

    If you go and see them it would blow your mind - you simply cannot believe how good they are. Then you consider that they still kids and it seems even more incredible. I wish I could have have persuaded them to do the song.

    Jake however is amazing. He is totally unphased about singing in public at an age where I would have never have dared. I am so proud of him.

    Well I'm glad that's been explained. I was sat here genuinely trying to work out if a. You were a child. B. The boy in the photo was older than he sounded and looked or c. You'd kidnapped a random kid to sing for you.

    Fantastic video, excellent song and Jake has got a cracking voice on him.

    I would like to get members of this board to do a selfie singing the chorus so that I can merge them all into a virtual Oakwell crowd singing video. Not too sure of the logistics of doing this but I will give it some thought.

    What confidence. I've heard they are a very highly regarded choir. I remember Mathew Wright who's the founder from School.

    Never seen it from that angle before and it’s even worse than from the normal angle - if that were possible.

    PS - difficult to see it though because eyes streaming like a ba$tard here.......

    The club would have to contact BYC about this. I checked them out about them doing the song but they showed little interest.

    If the club contacts them then they may be interested in doing something which would give them good publicity and greater visibility in the town. Not to mention the fact that there must be a lot of Barnsley fans in their ranks who would love to do this.
