Which makes me think it might be us in for him - you know the old agent talking up his value as a Championship player to try to get more on his contract. I would think this would be a big step up and there's no way he would be ready (pardon the pun) on Saturday, because his hair cut would take at least twenty-four hours. Still think it has got to be Shipps on loan if we want a tried and tested target-man with experience at Championship level. Let Richards/Wright prove themselves in this role for the first three games and then go for Shipps if we need strengthening.
