I feel much better thanks.

The pain has calmed down and my knee is a little puffy but not swollen like last week, so hopefully everything will be ok for going into hospital next week.

Operation is scheduled for Thursday 13th.

    Unfortunately not yet,

been sleeping most of the time and then doing tests when I'm awake.

I promise I will get round to watching it soon.

I used to live down the road from QPR. Over the course of about 3 years I went to about 10 games and sat with the QPR fans, and roughly the same number for Brentford - I had a Barnsley season ticket at the time as well. Clubs in more densely populated locations will get higher crowds, more transient spectators who are not really fans but want to see a game.

I've been to watch all of the London clubs at least twice (with the exception of Palace) when they weren't playing Barnsley. Sometimes I sat in the home end, sometimes away, depended who they were playing. I grew up in Blackpool and probably went to two or three games a season ... but I love it when we beat them, more than Wednesday. Only place I've lived and not gone to see the local club was Leeds.

I think there is a hardcore of people who make up a lot of the attendance, but I think there is a very large group of people who make less than 7 home games a season ... for whatever reason. I'd love to go more often, but I just can't, so I listen on the internet as much as I can and make 2-4 games a season.
