Re: Thirded That's not what supporting us is about. I like being disappointed. I like us being **** the majority of the time because games like Saturday's would mean nowt if we'd not watched us be w@nk for the second half of last season.
Re: Thirded Wouldnt council have to be involved in a take over bid because there part owners arn,t they. Not that i have any faith in council.
Re: Thirded If it's someone that comes in, turns off field activities round to generate the club's own income, and works with Hill to enable him to add the quality that Hill himself often speaks of in interviews that he can't afford then fine. The trouble is that would be me, and I haven't got £10 million - it'll be some ego maniac half bake that wants to put Sven in charge and buy a team of 30 year old ex internationals that don't give a ****.
Re: Thirded Exactly. It doesn't need massive capital injection, it need someone with a bit of know how to come down and help out. That's all.
I'm simply pointing out That we know nothing about these people, or their intentions and what has happened at other clubs in similar situations. Promises of investment aren't worth the paper they're written on.
Also With the exception on Manchester United, takeovers by outside consortia result in the manager losing his job. The new people always want their own man in to oversee their investment. Personally speaking, I like our present manager, believe he's doing a very good job and don't want him or his staff removed.
