May I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their wonderful messages, emails, texts etc.? They mean a great deal to us as a family and Laura in particular. She has improved so much since the operation that they've now moved her out of the High Dependency Unit onto the standard ward (although she does have her own room). Once again, thank you all. It shows just why the BBS is such a special place. Kev
Give her a hug from me matey, tell her I will buy her first curry when she gets home, that should ensure a rapid recovery !
Must be horrible for you all at this moment. Feel for you all and I sincerely hope all goes well for Laura....All the best to you mate....
We're taking things day by day, mate. The initial signs for Laura are promising and the care she's receiving from the staff is superb. God bless the NHS.
That's brilliant news. I know there is still obviously a risk that her body could reject the transplant but the way I see it is there's a hell of a lot higher chance of her body accepting it now she's got it than there was of her body accepting a non existent transplant a couple of weeks ago. Wish her all the best from me and tell her that if she doesnt get well soon then i'll pay post pals to update hher page to say that she's a sheffield wednesday fan
I hope everything turns out well for Laura and the rest of your family, she's an inspiration to us all and I feel I know her very well, tell her we're all in her corner willing her on to a full and happy recovery. Certainly puts football issues in their place, goodluck to you all.xx
