100% agree, some of the comments on here are rather embarrassing and it comes across as sour grapes.

Just to add, the one award I don't agree with
is the championship. In all other divisions the tile winning manager / head coach has won the award which is fair enough. Daniel Farke has spent very little at Norwich and delivered the title playing very much a similar style to us.

I wanted us to win the league, but I'm not bitter (for once where football is concerned) that we didn't.

Harford has done a great job. Getting Luton up is a hell of an achievement.

Just looked at the list of the LMA Manager of the year award, since its inception.
I'd forgotten until I've just looked at it, that Danny Wilson won it in 1997, for taking
    us up into the Premiership.

Does anyone know please, whether Daniel Stendel made the list of nominees for League One.?
It looks very much that by voting for Guardiola, Wilder, Harford and Lincoln City boss Cowley,
who won the League Two award , the majority of LMA members have opted for the Managers of the respective
Champions of each of the four divisions.

Well done to mick harford and Luton. We’ve had a very good season indeed whereas they’ve had a great one.

I second that. On balance, given how Lutons chances were fancied by the experts at the start of the
season Mick Harford deserved it. Shows how good we were though, we took four points from them
and were one of only six teams to beat them.

If Mick Harford won it fir part season at Luton then Hecky should have won it in 2015/16 for being bottom in Dec to winning promotion by end of season imo more remarkable than Harford .

Team was just promoted, lost their manager, takes over a team mid-season and keeps them there vs. Stendel doing well with a team that was expected to be top 5...I can see why it went to Harford.

They got back to back promotions too. They didn't consolodate for a season. They got promoted and went and won the league against far more established teams.

Maybe Daniel didn’t qualify only being a coach. But what seems illogical to me is that this is an award for a manager for the 18/19 season as defined by LMA. He only managed for 2019. If it was a team award fair play but it’s an award for an individual over a season. Did he achieve more than others through the few months he was in charge? Hey no, not really a big deal I guess

    I
think he does qualify as he’s been nominated for MoTM awards but as you say no big deal

Well i’m In the sour grapes bunch (see what I did there).

What a ridiculous decision. No denying Harford did well particularly as many of us thought the wheels might come off but......on these grounds Scott Parker should be winning the award for the Premiership.
