Lose the next two league games and i reckon he'll be gone. Another example of the board getting it wrong if this happens and could anyone trust em to get the next yes man i mean appointment right?
I'm with you too Whitey (not in a gay way), I reckon it's a pointless exercise keep sacking the manager. For me this is Lee's first proper run of bad form, last season doesn't really count as his bad patch then consisted of mainly draws. The problem for me is that we don't draw enough games. We seem to win comfortably or lose narrowly. We can't keep dropping points which we should be picking up. The game on Saturday was the worst for me, but I still think we're just short of clicking and rolling teams over. Can't be doing with another summer of wholesale changes when I think the bulk of the squad are quality players. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
48 Inch Mr Springvale ! Facts are very important one must remember. The fact is the footballs ***** , The Manager is clueless and the Clubs recruitment policy has more holes in it than the Titanic laid on the ocean floor. Add Benjamin's deathly silence into the mix and we have a recipe to be promoted outright at the end of the season. Am i mad one may ask ? Probably Don't forget we have some cracking games coming up before the xmas festivities begin. I wonder how many more of our loyal long suffering fans will end up falling asleep on the Pisspot?
Not sure about the cliques but here is the Cars with something we need! www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0Kv6vxZwL8
I am in the "Johnson Out" camp. But I would never have a problem with anyone having a different view, and would never have a go at anyone for having a different view. Folk having different views is what makes this board work. If, as looks more likely, the club are going to ride with it, I still hope to god that you are right and I am wrong.
I don't particularly want him in but I don't particularly want him out either. Here's where I am basically. Sacking managers has not got us where we are. Appointing the wrong managers (not necessarily bad managers) and adopting the wrong policies and practices both on and off the pitch has got us as a club, not just a team, where we are and that as I see it is a club that rents a dull, drab breeze book lined stadium that looks and feels unfinished, with a team that look relegation certainties in the worst division I've seen for many a year with fans or customers who feel totally alienated from the club. I don't think that keeping Lee Johnson will help us at all because I have seen absolutely nothing at all from him to suggest that he has any idea what the strengths and weaknesses of his players are, how to get the best out of them or how to get us out of this message. Nor do I think sacking him will help us. It may move us up the table this season by bringing in a manager who can get the best out of this group of players for a short period of time but with 8 players out of contract in one way or another in January or earlier and with the policies implemented by the club and the coincidentally similar negative safety first tactics employed by manager after manager after manager at the club under the current ownership I feel that any new manager will fall into the same pattern and we will be right back where we are now in 12 months time. For that reason I say we might as well keep him because what is the point of changing? It's like putting your dinner on a dirty plate, realising the plate is dirty and throwing your dinner away, making another meal and putting it on the same plate. Eventually when you've gone through the entire contents of your freezer and all you have left is a tin of beans you might realise that it's the plate that needs changing not the food.
42 inch? I thought it was 48? or has it shrunk in the wash? BTW I've got a 54 inch..,.. We're talking Tellies right???
Yeah, I'm with you as well. I don't want him sacked, I never do want any manager sacked. I hope he turns this bad spell around, although there isn't any sign of him learning from his mistakes, or realizing the talents and strengths of his players, or playing a formation to beat the opposition - especially at home. As for cracking games coming up - don't think so, not the way we're playing at the minute. I just hope we can get ourselves up for the S Yorks Derby at the end of November
well, as things stand, there is no way i am going to that one. I can think of better things to do than go to Bramhall Lane and watch us get humiliated.
Don't want another manager sacked but to be perfectly honest I don't give a **** anymore. The management of the club since administration has in my view moved it so far away from what it used to be about that it's just a thing now. The poor sod in the dugout and the lads on the pitch - they get my full backing every game. The rest of that lot at the club ? Non entities.
The problem with the position as you describe it is that it is negative both ways. Assuming that the change we need is further up the food chain (which i agree with) and assuming there is zero chance of that happening any time soon, then you have indicated that it will be **** if we get rid, and **** if we don't. We may as well pack up and go home. If we get rid there is a small chance that we get someone who actually knows what he is doing, who can work within the limitations we all know he will have to.
Yes I agree with you Whitey. It seems a tad ironic to me that some on here claim L J does not have sole responsibility for recruitments and not allowed to bring in the badly needed experience yet want him out coz he can't see the wood for the trees. No I'm not a so-called happy clapper and am as peed-off as anyone else with our current predicament. I hate some of L J's tactics particularly this everyone back for corners and free-kicks, but we have to stick with him and hope he soon sees some of the errors of his ways.
Is this one of those regurgitation threads that will appear at a later date to prove if folks were right or not, a bit like the list of who wants him sacked. Hope not cos its like the Happy clapper one on Saturday.
Out....he ent a Scooby doo and is just guessing now IMO. Benji has achieved nowt either and also needs to leave. Opinion opinions eh?
If we go by percentages then there a quite a few not happy. If we are all wallies on here then why not pack the forum in. Lose a couple more next two weeks and then give your reply Whitey
